Mission Voices CD The Horizons Unlimited DJ Project The first release in the DJ Project Series, "Mission Voices," blends hip-hop, electronic and experimental beats, lyrics that awaken critical consciousness, and collaborations with local artists including DJ Quest, Spazecrafte, and Azeem. This CD was produced by the youths in the Spring 2001 pilot program at Horizons Unlimited of San Francisco, in collaboration with the Southern Exposure Art Gallery. "Mission Voices" is the culmination of their first year's work. The promotion, marketing and distribution of the CD will allow these youth to gain skills in entrepreneurship, and enable us to continue our program as it enters its following cycles. Engineered and Recorded at The DJ Project Studio |
