| Corner Committee The DJ Project Participants in Corner Committee came to the class with varying levels of production experience, writing levels and maturity levels. Like all DJ Project cycles, however, they learned to collaborate with each other and compensate for their partners' weaknesses. The songs are raw and perhaps unpolished, but the production is dope and the lyrics prove that today's youth are more than just hyphy. Hip-hop music is about pure expression, and these participants didn't let their lack of studio experience get in the way of them speaking on their realities. In just 10 weeks, these young ones created some real nice tracks. We look forward to seeing what they can do in our advanced class modules. |
