| The World is Not Enough CD The DJ Project The World is Not Enough, our sixth CD compilation to date, is a special tribute to the development of Juan Guillermo (JAG) as a leader, mentor, teacher and producer. Juan was the first DJ Project participant back in 2000. Today this 21 year-old producer manages our studio, engineers recording sessions with aspiring young MC's and is employed to facilitate our program cycles. Juan experiments with beats mixed with elements of rock, metal, disco and jazz. The World is Not Enough captures the contradictions, vulnerabilities and hopes of young urban adults. It illuminates lives in which violence is a constant threat to survival, friends die young and fantasies of dominance often shield deeper insecurities. Love it or hate it, these are raw voices representing all that is wonderful and whack about today's hip-hop culture. Engineered and Recorded at The DJ Project Studio |
