The DJ Project's Cratefull
CRATEFULL is a love letter to the art of crate digging. A portmanteau of Grateful and crates, "Cratefull", the album captures The DJ Project’s sample-based hip hop approach, built from dusty records, careful listening, and intentional reconstruction. Released in 2018 under then Audio Production Program Coordinator Korise Jubert, CRATEFULL reflects a deep respect for musical lineage while transforming found sounds into something new, soulful, and forward-thinking.
DJ Quest x DREGSONE Interview for Paseo Artistico
DJ Quest x Dregs One Interview for Paseo Artístico brings together two pillars of Bay Area hip hop culture for a conversation rooted in artistry, innovation, and community. Featuring San Francisco–based rapper Dregs One, known for his raw, honest lyricism and commitment to the people around him, alongside DJ Quest, turntablist mastermind, scratch music innovator, co-creator of Hamster Breaks, and originator of the Hamster Style technique, the interview explores hip hop’s past, present, and future.
Paseo Artístico is produced quarterly by Acción Latina, Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts, Dance Mission, Precita Eyes Muralists, Medicine For Nightmares Bookstore and Gallery, Community Music Center, Artillery Ceramics, Temo’s Café, and the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District, with special thanks to the Latino Community Foundation PoderArte Fund and the Mellon Foundation for their support.

PRODUCE AISLE
The Produce Aisle is a community-driven event series showcasing beats, loops, and turntablism, hosted at Mission Synths and organized by The DJ Project. Highlighting local Bay Area producers, the series creates an intimate space for beatmakers and DJs to share works-in-progress, explore sound design, and celebrate the creativity and collaboration at the heart of the region’s music scene.
